Well, it's been a while since I posted to this blog... I've been quite busy lately working on a new project called The Organizing Connection. It is built using ASP.NET (but that should be obvious :-), but what is new is that it the video will be served up via a custom Silverlight based video player with integrated AJAX video lookup. It is also an example in securing video files so that only logged in users can actually view the content without having to resort to DRM (yes, you can intercept the video and save it to disk if you are clever enough and have paid the $200/year to belong to the site...) So please, don't go trying to prove me wrong.
We are having quite a bit of fun. I will let you know when it launches.
UPDATE: Site never launched. The customer walked away from the project still owing us $30,000 (which nearly killed the company as we were a young company).
